Side-effects: Genitourinary tract infections (such as urinary tract infections or genital yeast infections) due to increased glucose excretion in urine with dapagliflozin. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) when used in combination with other antidiabetic agents. Gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal discomfort, particularly with metformin. |
Contraindications: Acute or chronic metabolic acidosis including diabetic ketoacidosis Severe renal impairment. |

Description:
Dapaneu-M is a combination of three antidiabetic medications.
Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels.
Metformin decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from the food and the amount of glucose made by the liver. Metformin also increases the body’s response to insulin, a natural substance that controls the amount of glucose in the blood.
Indications:
Dapaneu-M tablet is commonly used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) to improve glycemic control and reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications. It may be prescribed as an adjunct to diet and exercise in individuals whose diabetes is not adequately controlled with metformin alone or in combination with other antidiabetic agents.
